Job Advert Location Description

Nelson House is a modern and spacious 30 bed hospital catering for adult males, comprising of three wards. Victory Ward is an Assessment and Treatment service providing focused, personalised and proactive assessments and treatment interventions for patients with Learning Disability who present with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. Trafalgar and Mary Rose Wards are rehabilitation and recovery services for patients with a long term mental illness who require intensive recovery support to move to a more independent setting. By having a focus on the development of skills for independence all wards provide a positive step for patients, many whose next step will be living in the community

As part of the Support Services team, our Catering Assistants deliver a high quality service to our service users through the creation, presentation and delivery of meals. In line with the company’s catering policies and procedures, the successful candidate will support the provision of the catering operation, assisting with basic food preparation and hygiene. A capable and reliable team player, you will need to be able to successfully manage pressurized situations with exceptional customer service. This role involves working on a shift pattern including evenings and weekends.

•           Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude

•           Previous experience in catering together with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
