Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services.

Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for someone who committed and a flexible individual to join our Support services team. To support and provide cover for our permanent team. Shifts will be available both during the week and at weekends.

Roles within the Hospitality job family are dedicated to ensuring patients, children, young people/adults and staff benefit from an attractive, clean and safe environment, which aids their well being and development.


Main Purpose-

Delivers an efficient and high quality housekeeping service within a Priory unit to assist the well-being and development of patients, children, young people / adult.


Key Accountabilities

1. Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the unit, in line with Operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

2. Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all unit areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.

3. Ensures that all housekeeping supplies are maintained securely at minimum levels.

4. Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or line manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations. 

5. Under direction, assists patients, children, young people/adults with personal items on arrival at the unit.

6. Delivers goods such as catering supplies, housekeeping materials, stationery stock and other consumables to various areas within the unit in a timely and efficient manner.

7. Under direction, assists the housekeeping team in specific areas.

8. Ensures that the unit’s assets are moved and located in the correct and safe manner, ensuring that the Priory’s procedures regarding manual handling and health & safety are followed.
