Job Advert Location Description

Beverley House is a 24-bedded rehabilitation hospital for women over the age of 18, situated in the heart of the community in Birmingham.

Patients admitted to Beverley House may be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act with a primary diagnosis of mental illness and personality disorder with complex needs

Job Advert Role Description

You will be preparing food, cooking lunch and dinner, you will menu plan in advance.  You will also be serving food to our patients and staff. Ensuring operational standards comply  with the company’s catering policies, guidelines, and statutory regulations.

You will also Ensure that stock ordering and rotation is organised in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Ensuring the effective and efficient planning of delivery of all aspects of food preparation, cooking and serving, taking account of dietary and nutritional requirements within the unit.

 

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

NVQ2 or equivalent or Qualified By Experience in Catering together with a basic qualification in food hygiene.

 

Experience within a professional kitchen environment preferred.
