Mount Eveswell  is a rehabilitation unit for brain injury patients.  Priory Mount Eveswell is situated on the east side of Newport on an elevated site.

Job Advert Role Description

Knowledge and skills

 

NVQ2 or equivalent or Qualified By Experience in Catering together with a basic qualification in food hygiene.

 

Principle responsibilities,

 

1. Undertakes the planning, preparation and cooking of meals, taking account of any special requests or dietary requirements within the unit.

2. Takes full shift responsibility for the catering operation .

3. Ensures the cost-effective and efficient control of stock including placing orders for food products and the checking/reconciliation of deliveries. Ensures that wastage is minimised.

4.Supervises assigned catering staff ensuring their quality of work continues to meet required operational standards and the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and guidelines.
