Job Advert Role Description

Great new challenging opportunity for an experienced administrator.

The Avondale care home is situated in a residential area of Motherwell, approximately ½ mile from Strathclyde Country Park. We are on the main bus route, and are 1 mile from the nearest train station. Both Motherwell and nearby Hamilton have shopping centres.

We are looking for a part time administrator to work Tuesdays and Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. 

Duties include:

  • Process payroll for monthly and weekly paid staff using the Priory Payroll systems working in conjunction with the Central Payroll Function.
  • Undertake the full remit of recruitment administration in conjunction with the Service Manager and the Central Resourcing Team to ensure that candidates move successfully through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • The post holder will be responsible for petty cash reconciliation and dealing with client monies.
  • The post holder will deal with incoming queries to the service and must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Undertake preparation for meetings and take minutes at meetings as requested.
  • Support the Home Manager and wider Service with Administration such as letters, memos, email communications.
  • Undertake diary management.
