Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking to grow our already established and dedicated team of support workers at our site near Redcar. 

Newstead House is a specialist Residential Service for adults who are on the Autistic Sceptrum and have complex care and support needs.

The service has extensive grounds,the main house comprising of two floors. The lower floor has a communal lounge, kitchen and bathroom and five on suite bedrooms. The upper floor has five self contained flats and there is a unit of six studio flats within the grounds.

We have a staff team of 97 staff ,including the registered manager,general managers,senior staff, administor,PBS practitioner and a maintenance operative.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team. We require both day and night staff.

Day staff work within a specific core team providing support to residents in a personalised way. Full time hours are 36 hours which are split into three 12 hour shifts. Night staff are part of a team who work on a floating rota basis from 8pm to 8am.

Ideally you will have experience working within a social care setting with service users who may present challenges.You will have strong values and ethics and want to make a difference in to the lives of the people we support.If this is you then we look forward to your application.

Whilst drivers are able to take service users out and about, you don’t need to be a driver to work here – we employ many non-drivers too!
