Job Advert Location Description

The Priory Bristol Offices are close the Bristol ring road with easy access to the city centre and the motorway network M32, M4 and M5.

You will be based from the Priory offices in Bristol but will be required to travel extensively to other operational sites and Central Offices in London, Leicester and Darlington.  Frequent overnight stays will also be required

Job Advert Role Description

Priory Group has an exciting opportunity for a Microsoft Engineer to join our IT team in Bristol. You will possess field based experience of at least 3 years, hold a Microsoft Certified Professional qualification and be competent at installing, fixing and deploying various IT solutions across various sites.

What we want from a Microsoft Engineer - Technical Skills 

  • Competent with HP Servers and desktops, including the ability to build install and deploy 
  • Competent with all Windows version 
  • Experience of Windows server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 and later versions 
  • Competent with software and connectivity technologies such as LAN/WAN DHCP, DNS, TCP
  • Cat 5 Cabling skills 
  • Experience with back up and restore processes 
  • Experience with remote access tools

What we want from a Microsoft Engineer -Non Technical Skills 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication 
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to manage own work load 

The successful candidate will also be involved in providing 3rd line support for the IT help desk Team
