Life Works is a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation centre offering residential services for Addictions and Eating Disorders. Life Works also offers a bespoke service, The Cottage, which offers an individual treatment programme within a private setting, and is the likely choice of recovery for high profile clientele.

Job Advert Role Description

We are seeking a Private Enquiries Manager based at Life Works, Old Woking to coordinate all enquiries received to site and facilitate admissions, assisting the Admissions Manager in bed management.


Work closely with the Admissions team at Woking to provide seamless enquiry and admission processes and where necessary managing unsuitable referrals for Woking, if suitable for Life Works. Ensuring a delivery of service within either site.


You will need to be confident speaking with people on the phone enquiring about treatment at the hospital, demonstrating good levels of empathy as well as focusing calls/visits to facilitate admission. You will need good numeracy skills to manage self-paying patients and insurance claims, and excellent administrative skills to coordinate referrals coming in 24 hours a day through Priory’s central enquiries call centre. You will ensure bed availability is coordinated through the hospital by working with the Admissions Manager and clinical team to plan discharges and admissions, as well as working closely with the consultant psychiatrist to ensure new patients are assessed/admitted in a timely manner.
