Job Advert Role Description

A great opportunity has arisen for somebody with a genuine interest in Learning & Development. The Priory Group are looking for a Learning & Development Apprentice Administrator to join the Learning & Development team based in Leicester to provide administrative and customer centred support to the Priory Group business ensuring  mandatory learning is planned, delivered and monitored to achieve the group regulatory compliance and quality standards. The role includes ensuring accurate and timely administration.  This role will be challenging and varied offering the successful candidate the opportunity to achieve a CIPD accredited level 3 qualification.

Customer enquiries

Providing a prompt and accurate response to Learning and Development queries (via email/ telephone), and directing non Learning and Development queries to the relevant department or team.

  • Act in a timely manner to mandatory requests to ensure site support or employee data is shared
  • Monitor and manage the Learning and Development Inbox by ensuring queries are distributed amongst the team and an informed response is provided to the colleague in a timely manner
  • Escalate higher level/complex queries to the appropriate manager with an overview of the issue
  • Liaising with or directing colleagues to other support teams to resolve queries

Learning Scheduling & Delivery

Enable the smooth running of the mandatory curriculum by working closely with divisional colleagues and the PD team.

  • Working from standard operating procedures  for mandatory renewal planning, venue sourcing and logging records/data through the Priory Academy
  • Event coordination – work alongside nominated partners to organise and schedule all mandatory and (where applicable) corporate standards events
  • Ensure delegate capacity is maximised, reported on and providers are updated. Also advertising courses to reach capacity
  • Assist SLA’s and new starters to update registers for centrally arranged learning events
  • Update and maintain learning records for Central Services colleagues

Learning Resources & Information Provide relevant learning resources and information to colleagues and suppliers.

  • Assist Academy Team Leader with core tasks and regulatory requests for data
  • Review and collate data where documentation is no longer relevant to the end user
  • Provide reports where required, relating to learning events, costs, compliance and CPD/IPD requests

Continuous Professional Development/Individual Professional Development (CPD/IPD)
Support the CPD/IPD application process for all divisions.

  • Process divisional decisions and update The Academy and the colleague in accordance with agreed Learning and Development process plan
  • Collate and record CPD applications for monthly panel meetings and Learning and Development Reports
  • Assist with CPD/IPD related queries
