Job Advert Role Description

Mark College is a specialist day school registered for 45 young people who have needs associated with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum/SPLD and are aged between 10 and 18 years. Our tailored approach means we are able to support young people with a wide range of learning difficulties. We support all young people to achieve successful outcomes so that they can progress to experience fulfilling and rewarding lives.

You'll be involved with: -

  • Cooking, planning and preparing meals
  • Controlling stock levels as well as placing orders for food products and coordinating deliveries
  • Supervising other members of the team to drive quality standards
  • As part of the catering team, you’ll be required to ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards.

We’re looking for someone who has good numeracy and literacy skills along with an understanding of basic food hygiene.  Experience in a catering environment is not essential as full training is provided.
