Job Advert Location Description

The Priory Hospital Church Village is a 12 bed locked rehabilitation service, providing treatment for females aged 18-65 years with a learning disability and additional mental health diagnosis including personality disorders. Most of our patients are detained under the Mental Health Act.

Job Advert Role Description

An opportunity has come up for you to join our friendly multidisciplinary team of staff including Consultant Psychiatrist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health and learning Disability Nurses.

 

The role involves

- Assisting with the planning, delivery and review of one-to-one and group therapy sessions ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the client as detailed in the individual’s therapy plan and as directed by senior staff.

 -Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports and other associated documentation  --   -Presenting and sharing relevant information with colleagues, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

-Collaborating, with professional and clinical colleagues facilitating related therapy sessions and assisting with research, analysis and audit activities as directed

 

We are looking for someone who:

 -Has a psychology degreee

 -Is currently working towards professiona registration/accreditation

  -Is interested in gaining experience in a learning disability service.

  -Has well developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively,     verbally and in writing, complex, highly technical and / or clinically sensitive information
