Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute and young peoples wards (CAMHs). We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment. We are also currently expanding our service with the addition of a newly purpose built 12 Bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Job Advert Role Description
We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Senior healthcare Assistants to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to patients. You will be involved in caring for and meeting the pscyhological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degress of mental health issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. You will have leadership skills to support the Health Care Assistants on the ward.
You will be working alongside qualified nurses and medical professionals so a passion to work within a team-orientated culture and a drive to deliver values and evidenced based patient care is key.
We will offer a competitive salary plus generous enhancements of 20% for unsociable hours and evenings, 50% on bank holidays and 30% overtime. Staff working on our new PICU will receive an additional allowance of £1,000 per annum. The role also boasts access to benefits within a Priory Group portal and an enticing company pension scheme.
