Job Advert Role Description

Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK.  With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

HR Frome Services provides recruitment, payroll and generalist HR support to a cluster of specialist educational settings and children's homes based in Frome and the surrounding area.  The post holder will be based at the HR office which is in Frome town centre.

The successful candidate will be involved in the recruitment of new employees by providing administrative support to managers, undertaking a range of pre-employment checks, and ensuring recruitment is legal, safe and meets regulatory standards.

You will handle external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation to ensure the highest level of service. You may also process payroll for one of our settings, ensuring systems are updated in an accurate and timely manner.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to begin or develop a career in this environment.  Basic IT skills are essential, but no experience is required as full training will be provided.  This is a fast-paced and demanding role, and a high level of literacy and numeracy is essential.  You will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, and be able to remain calm under pressure.

We are ideally seeking a full time member of our team, but are happy to consider candidates wishing to work 4 full days per week. Our core hours are 9am to 5pm, but we can offer some degree of flexibility around start and finish times.  Please contact Jo Sellars or Kelly Newton on 01373 469560 if you would like to discuss.

We are planning to hold interviews for this role week commencing 25th February 2019.
