Job Advert Location Description

Set within landscaped gardens, the safe and supportive environment of the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults. The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.

Job Advert Role Description

The post holder must have worked at this level before in the capacity of Deputy Ward Manager role and be experienced in delivering and receiving supervision.

The successful candidate will have prefered experience of working within either a secure or a PICU setting or a long experience of working within acute services. Reporting to the Ward Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical direction of the service, providing clinical supervision for the ward team and implementing best practice. The successful applicant will participate fully with the clinical team and support changes within the service.

 

The post holder must be experienced in delivering and receiving supervision. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to be able to harness the skills of staff and assess and prioritise clinical situations. The management of effective communication between medical and nursing staff is a key element of this role.

 

It will be prudent to be aware of the CQC Five Key Lines Of Enquiry and least restrictive practices to maintain patients dignity and respect.
