Job Advert Role Description

At Priory Education we are proud of our reputation for delivering quality education and care services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements.

As the development of our service continues into 2019, so do the opportunities for you to contribute to the care and education of Looked After Children in Scotland within a School Care Accommodation service.

Through the skills and capacity of our team and our exceptional physical resources, we create a nurturing and aspirational environment that enables our young people to; re-engage in their experience of learning, thrive and succeed.

We currently have an opportunity for an energetic and committed Night Residential Support Worker at Troup House School to contribute to the effective delivery of care and individual programmes. As professional Childcare workers, you will ensure that your practice complies with policy and procedure and are in line with regulatory, statutory and compliance requirements and meet quality standards.

You will also be required to hold a current UK driving licence and undergo certified training and refresher courses in a range of areas including Safeguarding, Physical Intervention, Behavioural Management, First Aid, Fire Prevention and Health & Safety at work and other specialist training related to the location as well as the relevant CPD.

You are required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) if your application is successful.

PVG membership through Disclosure Scotland is required.

We can support working towards or completion of HNC /  SVQ 3 which is a minimum requirement.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
