Job Advert Role Description

PART-TIME & FULL-TIME AVAILABLE

We are recruiting for a Night Residential Support Worker for our Children’s Homes, aligned to Rugeley School, in Rugeley Staffordshire. The Children’s Homes and Rugeley School are a specialist residential setting for young people aged 5 to 19 with autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

The homes provide a modern setting in which students can achieve an enhanced degree of emotional stability through an active approach to learning. Students are able to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem, dignity and independence.

This is a physically demanding role and staff will also need to have the confidence to deal with the challenging behaviours that autism can present.  We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all our employees to share in this commitment.

Our ethos is to promote the development of social behaviours, independence and personal skills, offering opportunities to practice them in real life settings. We provide care with a strong emphasis on the importance of privacy, dignity, rights, choice and fulfilment in a comfortable, homely, stimulating and safe environment.

Our Night Support Worker roles in Rugeley offer a salary of up £17,645 per annum.
