Job Advert Role Description

The role will involve:

- Receive and respond to referrals undertaking assessments and diagnoses to determine and plan an effective speech and language programme for assigned clients using appropriate and relevant treatments and interventions.

- Plan, conduct and review one-to-one and group therapy sessions ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the client and are consistent with the provisions

detailed in the client’s therapy plan while also complying with Group policy statutory regulations.

- Manage, monitor and review an assigned caseload through regular consultation and liaison with professional and/or clinical colleagues.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports and other associated documentation presenting and sharing relevant information and knowledge concerning assigned clients with professional and/or clinical colleagues at regular case meetings.

- You will bring a wealth of experience with you, including providing a range of services to adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties. The post holder will be used to working as part of a multi disciplinary team and be enthusiastic to develop service provision. Whilst the post is in Complex Care, there may be opportunities to work within acute psychiatry.
