Job Advert Role Description

Our Children’s Home situated in Preston, Lancashire are seeking a permanent Full-Time Assistant House Manager. This is a Residential Children’s Home for up to 6 boys aged 9-16+ years exhibiting Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties

As a member of our residential care team near Preston, Lancashire you will provide residential care for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 years old whom have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour. You will assist them with their daily lives. This could be in the form of helping the young person at school, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.

Our Assistant House Manager roles in Preston, Lancashire offer a salary of up to £21,000 per annum.

Under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people. You will effectively guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.

Level 3 in Children and Young People qualification is essential for this role. Successful applicants will need to have previous experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. 

Hours

A family is 24/7 and so are we. We use a rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need. In our Home you can you should be happy to work a shift rota system.
