Job Advert Location Description

Llanarth Court Hospital is a 114 bedded forensic hospital providing a multi disciplianry service in  low, medium and open rehabilitation settings. We also have a 4 bedded open rehabilitation bungalow. We are a sector-leading example of how providing a wide variety of care settings and a clear care pathway in the direction of recovery, can be achieved for all patients.

Job Advert Role Description

To coordinate the administration of the Patient Care Programme Approach (CPA/CTP) process for Llanarth Court Hospital, with additional medical record tasks and administration staff supervision responsibilities.

 

Manages diary of assigned individuals, ensuring the efficient coordination of dates, times and venues and the effective scheduling and prioritisation of appointments, meetings and other associated events and functions.
Attend and co-ordinate managers hearings, ensuring as far as practicable, a safe environment in hearings for visitors and staff.
Supervises and coordinates a key administrative process ensuring all associated records, transactions and arrangements comply with the company’s policies and procedures, providing an audit trail by which data and information can be provided or accessed as required.
Provides a comprehensive secretarial service arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, circulating minutes and monitoring the completion of action points.
Responds to external and internal communications, both over the phone and in person, prioritising accordingly and ensuring appropriate action is taken and all relevant individuals are involved/informed.
Ensures the effective and efficient maintenance of computerised databases and paper filing systems through the timely and accurate updating of associated records.

Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 as revised 2007, is required,  experience in a similar role preferable,  experience of supervisory responsibilities.

Good level of education, NVQ in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.

Good working knowledge of Excel and word.

 

Llanarth Court Hospital is a purpose built medium / low secure hospital caring for men and women with high levels of challenging behaviours, personality disorder, learning disability and complex forensic histories.
