Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and motivational leader to undertake the role of Ofsted Registered Manager for our Children's Home in Long Bennington area. This exciting opportunity within our Senior Management Team will support a 3 bedroom home for young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

As a registered manager at our Children’s Home in Long Bennington you will take complete responsibility for the running of service provision. You will be expected to maintain and improve on the already high standards in the home in line with the Company's expectations, provide leadership, support and direction for the well-established care team and champion the Company’s ethos. You will also need to be able to work with professionals from a wide range of different disciplines, liaising with outside agencies and stake holders you will demonstrate professionalism and act as a role model for staff. Whilst this role does offer challenges it also delivers a personal achievement when you are able to help our young people to lead lives that are fulfilled, full of opportunities and aspirational.

The successful applicant will need to have had a wide range of experience as a child care practitioner having managed teams in a residential setting.  A Level 5 Diploma / DipSW qualifications or equivalent are essential.  Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence is required.

Our Registered managers will need to be outcome focused, be prepared to be flexible and have an unswerving passion for providing the best possible service for the young people we care for. We endeavour to provide a stable, caring and therapeutic environment, enabling children and young people to develop, grow and flourish. This Registered Manager position can offer a salary of £33,000-£37,000 per annum dependent on experience.
