Priory Adult Care is currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Support Workers to join our brand new facility based on the outskirts of Coleraine. Bohill House Care Home, Bohill House is a modern, purpose built nursing home in Coleraine for up to 80 older people. We support people with physical needs who require assistance and care. The homely and comfortable environment enables us to provide person centred care tailored to the needs of our residents. Our dedicated and trained team provide a high standard of care to enhance resident’s quality of life. This post is for an 26 bedded Nursing Unit the applicant must be registered with NISCC and have some experience in the administration of medication and care of the elderly.

The role of Senior Support Worker will be both varied and rewarding. Your duties will include: carrying out medication rounds, planning and attending activities, personal care, supervisions and management of support teams .There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters and shift planning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar role and have obtained QSF level 2. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop further; the Priory group can offer further QSF qualifications to management level (Level 5), a full mandatory training program, including medication training if required. The role comes with structured careers pathway and opportunity to progress not only within the role at Bohill House but within Priory Adult Care group as well.
