Job Advert Location Description

Our service is based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border and provides a range of assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and specialist residential services to over 90 adults with a learning disability in a range of different environments suited to their individual needs including medium, low secure and rehabilitation.

In addition to a learning disability, many of our patients have complex needs including forensic histories, mental illness, ASC and Personality Disorders.  Most patients are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.

Administrator - Payroll/HR Support Role


To provide support within the HR Department primarily in relation to the processing of on-site payroll responsibilities. This role will also provide administrative support to the HR and Recruitment Administrators.


The main duties will be:


•           Consolidate daily overtime and bank ward submission Excel spreadsheets

•           Inputting and processing of bank hours on eRoster in line with weekly submission deadlines

•           Inputting and processing of overtime hours on eRoster in line with monthly submission deadlines

•           Daily inputting on eRoster of absence and return to work notifications

•           Processing of absence pay and accompanying paperwork

•           Supporting with clearing of clock-in markers on eRoster in line with weekly and monthly payroll submission deadlines

•           Check and ensure eRoster rotas are extended appropriately to cover current payroll period and prompt/remind where necessary

•           To assist and support with monthly payroll documentation


•           To assist and support with inputting of annual leave on to eRoster

•           To assist with filing and archiving personnel files

•           To support with facilitation of employee engagement activities

•           To assist and provide department cover during periods of absence/annual leave


Person Specification:

•           A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

•           A good aptitude for figures

•           An ability to prioritise in order to meet strict deadlines

•           Good organisational skills and keen attention to detail

•           General previous experience within an administrative role

•           Previous experience in HR is desirable but not essential for the role
