Southern Peninsula Services are looking for Night  Support Workers to join their team in the Tavistock. We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join our hardworking  team.

This will be working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off.

As a Night Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families and other stakeholders, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in teaching them life skills.

This is a large 5 bedded home sat in the historic town of Tavistock. Tavistock has good transport links and a lively town centre with sports facilities, theatre, markets and fairs. The home sits atop of a hill with views of Dartmoor and Tavistock.  It is a beautiful Victorian building with large bright and airy rooms with large grounds of 2/3rds of an acre offering complete privacy for young people to enjoy should they feel the need for some running around and fun.

Candidates must have either:

•           A Children, Young People & Families Practitioner Level 4 (previously Diploma Level 3) or willingness to undertake this qualification within a robust timescale

This role includes work weekends.

Salary will increase after successful completion of your probation period, Level 3 Diploma and the Induction, Growth and  Competency Framework to £18,255. 

The home is located outside of the main town, so own transport is desired.
