The Cloisters is a Residential Children’s Home for up to 6 boys aged 9-16+ years exhibiting Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties.  The Cloisters is part of Eastwood Grange School.

Job Advert Role Description

This role requires you to support the Registered Manager in the leadership and management of the home. You will deputise and act up for the Registered Manager in their absence. Applicants must have a good knowledge of children's home regulations. The Deputy House Manager must support the team of staff in which will include management, recruitment, induction and supervision.

The Deputy House Manager will also support the Registered Manager in ensuring all the young persons documents are in place, up to date and regularly reviewed.

The role will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the young people.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People.

Applicants must also hold a valid clean driving license.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
