Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to recruit a Staff Liaison Manager with a minimum of five years management  experience who has a proven track record of managing large teams of employees. This exciting new role is School based and would be working term time only. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and will have worked in a School or Residential home environment previously. 

As Staff Liaison Manager you will be the first point of contact for new and established staff working with our pupils. Your duties will include inducting new staff, staff deployment on a daily basis and managing staff absence. You will have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to hold staff to account when necessary, coupled with an approachable management style which ensures we get the most out of our employees.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a professional approach and keen to maximise staff efficiency. Our main focus at Oliver House School is to improve the outcomes for our pupil's and you will need to possess the skills to manage various teams across the School consisting of Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Support Workers. We are looking for an enthusiastic motivator, who has a hands on approach to working with both our pupil's and our staff.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who is self-motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet any deadlines set by the Senior Leadership team. The work carried out by the  staff at Oliver House School really makes a difference to the lives of pupil's who attend. For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
