Job Advert Role Description

Mount View is a purpose-built development which will specialise in supporting individuals with autism, complex needs & challenging behaviour. This is a chance to be part of a team who will shape the service into a flagship service serving the people of Rochdale and surrounding Greater Manchester boroughs.

Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

We are looking for Waking Night Support Workers to expand our service. The role  can be extremely challenging in terms of behaviours however it is also very rewarding, resilience and experience working in similar environment is an advantage but not essential.

Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital.
