Kitchen Assistant

Priory Adult Care are looking for an enthusiastic kitchen assistant for our site based on the outskirts of Coleraine. Bohill House is a modern, purpose built nursing home in Coleraine for up to 80 older people. We support people with physical needs who require assistance and care. The homely and comfortable environment enables us to provide person centred care tailored to the needs of our residents. Our dedicated and trained team provide a high standard of care to enhance resident’s quality of life

The Role

As kitchen assistant, you will help assist kitchen staff to provide high quality food and hospitality for our residents. Working to the highest on standards, ensuring dietary requirements of all the residents are met. You will

  • Work alongside kitchen staff to help prepare food and meals
  • General kitchen housekeeping, ensuring the kitchen meets high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the Home.
  • Serving food/drinks/snacks to the residents at meal times
  • Cleaning after service (Dishwasher duties, clearing down tables, preparation benches)
