Job Advert Location Description

Priory High Wycombe Hospital is a newly refurbished 12 bed independent hospital, providing specialist inpatient treatment for Children and Adolescent with Mental Health and  Learning Disability in Spring 2018. Conveniently, located close to M40 J4, the new service will specialise in the management and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions.

The hospital will provide a specialist Low Secure environment for young people aged 13-18 years and will consist of a 7 day, 24 hour service fully supported by a Senior Management Team and multi-disciplinary specialist clinicians on site and a school.

Job Advert Role Description

We are recruiting for a Cook to perform the duties below:

·         To assist chefs in their duties.

·         Deputise for the Chef in their absence, by ordering food stock and organise the kitchen brigade in the day to day running of the kitchen operation. Computer skills are require; to access emails and online training.

·         Maintain food and beverage preparation and service to wards, restaurant and special functions, to a high level of quality and quantity

·         Maintain a high level of hygiene in food storage, kitchen and wash-up areas.

·         Maintain good food storage procedures and stock rotation.

·         Set a professional example in work methods, procedures, personal presentation, timekeeping and hygiene.

·         Maintain flexible working hours at all times.

·         To supervise the lunch service in the staff canteen, ensure a constant high quality of service and food.

To maintain health and safety at work practices at all times.
