Job Advert Location Description

Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, Priory Hospital Chelmsford is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems.  There is a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

The hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 60 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.

We provide expert treatment for the following services:

•             Eating disorders

•             Child and Adolescent Mental Health

•             Addiction services

Our highly experienced multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes alongside the use of a wide range of therapies.

Job Advert Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity for Sessional ATP Therapists who are experienced in the treatment of addictions, including drug and alcohol, to work within our energetic and integrated multi disciplinary team.

The successful applicant(s) will ideally be have attained or be working towards FDAP or BACP Accreditation. Previous experience working within the 12 step model would be an advantage.

The post holder(s) must be able to deliver specialised group and individual counselling to the A.T.P patient group, and to present and process educational  material in the form of training, workshops and visual presentations.

Our service provides an active in-patient assessment, treatment and aftercare programme, and an active day care programme, for patients with addiction problems.

The successful candidate(s) will be required to be flexible in their working hours with some weekend and evening hours as part of their rota.
