Job Advert Location Description

The Priory Hospital Woodbourne is an independent hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions. The hospital has established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

We provide expert treatment for the following services:

-Eating disorders

--Child and Adolescent Mental Health

-Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit

-Acute inpatient service for 18 to 25 year olds

-Private ward for general adult and addictions patients

 Mulberry is a 14 bed acute CAMHS inpatient unit for 12 to 18 year olds. The treatment is individual focussed and is aimed at quick recovery via a bio psycho social model.




Job Advert Role Description

The specialty doctor will support the consultant psychiatrist and be an active member of the multidisciplinary team in the management of the service users.

The role will include;

- Clerking and formulation of management plans

- Risk assessment and management

- Physical health care

- Tribunal/psychiatric report writing.

- Liaising with other professionals

The specialty doctor will be expected to be suffiently experienced to work independently and autonomously.

Preference will be given to those with post graduate qualifications.
