Job Advert Location Description

Set within a safe and therapeutic environment, the Priory Hospital Dewsbury is a 32 bedded locked service, supporting two different service user groups:

•           Hartley Ward which is a 16 bed ward that focuses upon the active rehabilitation of men with mental health issues. The emphasis is upon stabilising mental health, reducing risks and enhancing independent living skills, with a view to reintegration into the community. 

•           Jubilee Ward which is a 16 bed ward that supports men with dementia, and behaviours that challenge.

Job Advert Role Description

Responsible for ensuring the Common Maintenance Standards are maintained, as defined in the General Property Maintenance Guide. To contribute to the delivery of effective, efficient and economical day-to-day maintenance, new and alteration works to ensure the safety of colleagues, service users and visitors and that they experience a pleasant and cared for environment. Transports people and goods to and from a variety of locations, in order to assist with the operation of the Priory unit.
