Job Advert Location Description

Set back within 1.5 acres of landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Southampton offers therapeutic and recovery focused residential treatment as well as day care and outpatient services. The hospital also provides a specialist inpatient service for children and adolescents.

Priory Hospital Southampton provides 40 beds across 3 wards.  The  services provided at the hospital include Addictions Treatment, young peoples ward (CAMHs) and treatment of most psychiatric conditions and Eating Disorders.

We have a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

Job Advert Role Description

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Family Therapist to work across child and Adolescent inpatient Services at Southampton Priory Hospital.

 The role holder will work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary team to provide assessments and interventions for children, young people and their families who have been referred to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.  The role holders responsibilities will include:

working within the standards set out by the CQC, other regulators and evidence based practice, regularly reviewing ad monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal based outcomes and the care programme approach, participating in service developments including service user feedback and contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols and to provide specialist supervision, training and consultation to colleagues.
