The priory group is currently looking for Senior Support Worker to join our Whitby scheme, multi-site residential and supported living in and around the Whitby area. The Whitby Scheme consists of 4 homes for up to 35 adults with a diagnosis of Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities. The Whitby Scheme also supports people that live in their own accommodation.

Each site has a deputy who reports directly to the multi-site manager who covers all homes in the Whitby Scheme. Currently, sites are based around Whitby, however expansion plans see the Whitby scheme extending over to Scarborough and other surrounding areas. There is great opportunity within this scheme for development and progression.

To support the Registered Manager in maintaining policy & procedures in line with our regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will provide the highest standard of person centred support and care to the people who use our service, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling them to lead as independent lives as possible and realise their potential.

They will ensure that through their own actions and behaviour and the effective supervision of Support Workers, the service complies with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards. As Senior Support Worker you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents, ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.

The Priory Group offers structured career pathways, with many opportunities within the group and expanding supported living units. There will also be opportunity to carry out management NVQ’s.
