Job Advert Location Description

Woking Priory Hospital is a 36-bed acute mental health hospital located in Knaphill, Woking (GU21 2QF).  Nearest stations are Brookwood and Woking.  We offer group and individual psychotherapy to adults on an in-patient / day patient / outpatient basis, with a variety of presenting issues.

Job Advert Role Description

Experienced Integrative/Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

3 days a week to work within a multi-disciplinary team, offering group and individual psychotherapy to adults. 


Essential experience/qualifications:

  • Post-graduate qualification in integrative / psychodynamic psychotherapy
  • UKCP Registration or BACP Accreditation, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical work with adults in an acute mental health setting
  • Minimum of 50 hours experience of facilitating group therapy
  • Good admin and computer skills


Any of the following are desirable:

  • Training and experience in providing clinical supervision
  • EMDR Part III qualified
  • Training and experience in DBT
  • Experience of working with addictions (12-step model)
  • Training and experience of couples therapy


Days: Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
