Job Advert Role Description

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Quality Improvement Facilitator reporting into the Director of Quality, this role will be responsible for providing the quality team representation and leadership to a defined region along with assurance and support for clinical quality and safety for an identified number of sites within the region. 


Key Responsibilities

  • To contribute to the regional SMT as an active member regarding quality and compliance standards and requirements, and triangulating these with people and commercial elements, to achieve the regional and divisional objectives.
  • Line manager three Quality Improvement facilitators ensuring they fulfil all elements of their role.
  • To support a patient safety culture, and promote learning from incidents and complaints, making sure sites have clear arrangements for making this happen and share learning across the region.
  • Lead investigations and reviews, including serious incidents, thematic reviews, whistleblowing and complaints, providing reports within the given timescales and in accordance with policies.
  • Deliver coaching and training as necessary in relation to developing and improving quality and practice.


This is a remote role with travel required to attend sites across the UK, there will be occasional overnight stays.


Think you’ve got what it takes? These are the key skills & experiences we are looking for

  • A registered nurse (either Learning Disability or Mental Health)
  • Experience for of working at a Clinical managerial level within a mental health or learning disability service for a minimum of 2 years
  • Trained to level 4 in Safeguarding Children and adults
  • Full operational understanding of thestandards pertaining to regulation, including CQC, and Welsh and Scottish equivalents; MHA; DOLS;MCA
