Job Advert Location Description

Oxford Wellbeing Centre is located in the heart of Oxford's city centre, and offers easy access to private outpatient assessment and treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions. The centre provides a service for children and adolescents (CAMHS) as well as adults service.

The Wellbeing Centre is based on the top floor of a bright and airy building providing privacy and comfort to each and every one of our patients, and with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a Centre Manager who will lead the business development and performance of the Wellbeing Centre, ensuring strategic, operational and financial performance is optimised and that quality indicators, national care standards and all other legislative and regulatory requirements are fully met.

You will manage a small team of employed staff, and work closely with the therapists, psychologists and consultant psychiatrists who offer private assessments and treatment from the service through a sessional and practising privileges arrangement.

You will ensure that there are high levels of customer service within the centre throughout bookings, arrival, departure and during service delivery, to ensure patients receive an outstanding experience.

You will ensure that the centre runs efficiently, making sure that the capacity meets but does not exceed demand, and will be responsible for ensuring all financial matters, including client payments, staff and sessional therapist payments, and the management of the profit and loss account in line with budget.

You will need to be educated to degree level, and should have clinical and/or managerial experience within healthcare or a similar position/service. You should have a sound knowledge of outpatient therapy and experience of managing a budget, and be confident working in a standalone role, as neighbouring services are not geographically close.
