Richmond Heights is a purpose built nursing home in Sheffield for up to 55 older people. We support people with physical needs who require assistance and care. The homely and comfortable environment, finished to a high standard, enables us to provide person centred care tailored to the needs of our residents.

Job Advert Role Description

Richmond Heights is looking for an experienced cook to run the kitchen at Richmond Heights. As well as cooking, the head of kitchen must complete the kitchen rotas, set appropriate menus, complete weekly food orders while managing the budget, adhere to all safety standards, and be professional at all times. Head of kitchen reports directly to Jayne Humphrey - Home manager. As part of the Support Services team, our Chefs provide a high quality service to our service users through the creation, presentation and delivery of meals. Working with a team of Catering Assistants, the successful candidate will assist with the provision of the catering service with particular emphasis on the planning, preparation and cooking of meals.

  • Basic qualification in food hygiene
  • Level 2 diploma in food hygiene or qualified by previous experience in catering
