Job Advert Role Description

Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?

We are currently looking for a Care Assistant to provide care and support for individuals at Priory Adult Care’s Boughton Manor.

Boughton Manor is a care home designed for older people with dementia and complex health needs. The home provides a specialist nursing service for individuals and our dedicated team ensure we meet the resident’s care and social needs.

Situated in the rural village of Boughton, the home offers a supportive environment with extensive communal space and comfortable lounge areas. The home offers a warm and homely environment and each bedroom has been designed to ensure comfort and safety of the residents.

The friendly and welcoming décor helps residents feel at home and there is a tranquil, fully enclosed garden, which offers our residents a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. There is an open door visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.

Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.

If you are looking for a rewarding career, we would like to hear from you.

Care Assistant benefits include:

  • A competitive salary
  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
  • Comprehensive induction and commitment to on-going training
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Online benefits and cashback rewards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • SMART childcare vouchers
  • SMART pension option
