Set within landscaped gardens, the safe and supportive environment of the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults. The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.

 

Job Advert Role Description

Reporting to the Head Chef we require a Catering Assistant to support the provision of the catering operation.

Duties include washing up, receiving deliveries and the cleaning of all kitchen areas in accordance with the company’s Assured Safe Catering Policy. You must ensure that the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene compliance standards.

The role involves carrying and delivering meals to the on-site coffee shop. Distributing and collecting food trolleys to and from the ten wards across the hospital. You will also deliver any hospitality refreshments that may be needed throughout the day.

This is a physically demanding role in a very busy environment. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable, and work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 over 7 days, shift pattern 10am – 6pm and occasionally 8am – 4pm. Applicants will hold a current full UK Driving Licence.
