Job Advert Location Description

The Vines is a Neuro Rehabilitation Service in Crowborough, East Sussex which provides specialist nursing care, rehabilitation and support for individuals with neurological conditions.

Therapy programs are tailored for each individual and goals are developed in conjunction with their families to best reflect aspiration. Individuals are supported to take part in activities they enjoy, including sensory experiences, and families are encouraged to be involved through regular review meetings.

Job Advert Role Description

Occupational therapist to provide assessment and interventions to adults with brain injury. To provide goal centred rehabilitation including building independence in daily living tasks and reintegrating into the local community (e.g. shopping, work experience and leisure). To work closely with psychology to assess residents abilities and consider how areas of difficulty can be supported by the team. To be part of multidisciplinary team meetings and to contribute to care planning and mental capacity assessments. To provide training to the team as needed.
