Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Charnwood Lodge is situated in a rural local near Loughborough and provides residential care and support for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill-health and behaviours that may challenge. Due to the complex needs of those we support, many individuals require 1:1 or 2:1 support day to day.

Charnwood Lodge is a large building set in the extensive and well-maintained grounds and is surrounded by extensive woodland area.  Own transport is essential due to the service not being on a bus route.

Job Advert Role Description

As an Activities Co-ordinator you will co-ordinate and organise all social and recreational activity for the home. Your role will involve getting to know our residents so that you can plan activities to suit their individual needs.

We will look to you to think creatively to develop a diverse and engaging programme, enhancing the wellbeing of our residents through providing a stimulating range of activities. Energy and enthusiasm is crucial, combined with empathy in order to listen to and understand our residents and their interests.
