Job Advert Role Description

Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to provide care and support for individuals with Autism at Priory Adult Care’s Hamilton House in Leigh Sinton, Worcestershire.

You will have experience of supporting people with a learning disability and Autism along with some experience of supporting people with behaviours which may challenge the service. You will work alongside and mentor and guide a team of 14 approx support staff, leading the shift and taking some responsibility for medications, job allocations and support planning generally, including managing monies.

 You will work 3 x 12 hour  shifts per week (including every other weekend)  You will also be involved in supporting individuals with personal care, and with shopping and preparing meals.  You will need good communication skills, and have good literacy skills as the role involves a degree  of paperwork, including computer literacy. Driver essential for the role due to rural setting- we have three house vehicles here to enable everyone to lead a busy, active lifestyle.
