Job Advert Role Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeepers to join the team on a bank contract, working as required to cover holidays and sickness. Previous experience is desirable. Duties will include delivering an efficient, high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the hospital, to assist the well being and development of patients and delivering and maintaining a tidy environment in a timely and efficient manner. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Making beds, emptying bins, polishing all surfaces, vacuuming carpets, washing net curtains at regular intervals, cleaning baths, sinks and toilets and all surfaces, wash bathroom floors, dusting on top of wardrobes, washing all paintwork, window ledges etc.  Replacing toilet paper, soap when necessary.  Replacing towels.  Clearing dirty crockery.

 

Laundry:   All outgoing laundry to be counted before placing in dirty linen bags and documented on forms supplied, and all incoming laundry to be counted and checked off on form.  Replacing patient towels twice weekly.

 

Any other reasonable duties as advised by the Support Services Manager.
