Priory Hospital Burgess Hill is located in beautiful West Sussex and offers the opportunity to gain experience across many specialist mental health disciplines including Secure Services, a DBT Locked Rehabilitation service, PICU Services and Acute care.

With a CQC rating of GOOD across all 5 Key Lines of Enquiry, you would be working in a forward thinking hospital supporting our patients recovery alongside a highly skilled and dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team. Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, providing high quality therapy services to service users at Burgess Hill Hospital .  The successful candidate will join a well established, dedicated and fully integrated multi-disciplinary team undertaking occupational therapy sessions, groups, care planning and evaluation for a designated caseload.

Candidates will have excellent group facilitation skills in addition to providing individual interventions as part of the hospital's therapeutic timetable. 

Dip COT, BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy together with HCPC registration is required together with previous experience of working with complex and challenging patients within a Mental Healthcare setting implementing a therapeutic approach. 

A flexible approach is essential together with good communication and organisational skills. This role will also be involved with the supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants within the hospital.
