Job Advert - Division Information

Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.

Job Advert Location Description

Priory Group has launched a specialist residential service providing care and therapy for up to 6 young people aged between 7-18 years who may have emotional and behaviour difficulties. The home works closely with the therapy team in order to provide a high level of care and support  to meet the, moral and emotional needs of our young people. Our home is part of Priory's specialist education service and has been specifically designed to accommodate young people with complex needs within a homely residential environment, situated within a semi-rural picturesque location close to Northallerton. Our home offers a range of nurturing and stimulating experiences in order for the young people to fulfil their full potential in life.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.

What we’d like from you:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective organisational capability
  • Great team player
  • Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support
  • Strong “can do” attitude
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification

What we’d like to give you:

  • A competitive salary
  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
  • Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training
  • Online benefits and cashback rewards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Dental Insurance
  • Travel Insurance
  • SMART Pension option
  • Health Cash Plan
