The Red House provides 24 hour support for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We aim to enable all individuals to make their own choices about the support they receive. 

Job Advert Role Description

As Deputy Manager, you will be required to Support, and act in the absence of, the Registered Manager i.e. to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service. Have practical experience of supporting people with complex needs who can challenge their environment and the people supporting them. Demonstrate sound knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, and person centred approaches. Excellent communication skills to effectively maintain family and  community relations. Participate in administration duties and ensure that all required records are kept current and accurate to ensure validated audit trails. Good numeracy, English and IT skills. Participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individuals’ care plans, goals, activity planners, guidelines, Positive Behaviour Support plans and risk assessments. To attend / participate in multi-disciplinary reviews for service users. To help undertake staff supervisions.
