Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to provide care and support for individuals at Priory Adult Care’s Progress House based in Rotherham. Progress house is situated in Kilnhurst it is a five bedded home with only male residents. We support four at present individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and autism. We provide a safe and very homely environment, where everyone can make their choices about the support they receive. We continue to strive in promoting independence to all the people we care and support.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital. As a support worker you will be a key member of our team, providing a high standard of person- centred support to our service. We are a well run team and work extremely hard as a team of at present 11 staff members to ensure that our service runs to a high quality in all areas.

Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.
