Job Advert Location Description

Priory Hospital Bristol offers calming and recovery focused inpaitent treatment for up to 86  service users as well as day care and outpatient services. Personalised treatment programmes are delivered by our multidisciplinary team, specialising in the management and treatment of acute and complex mental health problems.

Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital Bristol is looking to recruit Independent Managers.

This role is a voluntary role, although reasonable travel expenses will be paid.

Tasks would include:

  • Quarterly Meetings
  • Review of Section Papers
  • Sit on Managers Hearing Panel
  • Visit Wards to speak with Service Users (usually only once or twice in any quarter)

Experience we are looking for:

  • Working with the Mental Health Act
  • Previous experience as a Hospital Manager
  • Previous experience sitting on Hearing/Tribunal/Renewal Panels
  • Previous work within the social work/AMHP or legal sector, or a particular interest or experience with working in mental health services a benefit.
