Job Advert Role Description

Rossendale School, Bury, currently accepts pupils from some 18 different Local Education Authorities in the North West and although we are predominantly a day school, there is provision for up to 12 pupils to board Monday to Friday in term time only.  We have also had our registration changed recently to incorporate admitting more young people up to the age of 18 at our Sixth Form, which now means that we can take up to 94 young people.

This housekeeper post is part-time to provide cleaning and housekeeping duties for our School and 6th Form, our children are aged 6-18 years and have complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with associated autism spectrum conditions. The post consists of 15 hrs a week working over 42 weeks per academic year, the role is an essential part of the School team, you must be able to work evenings as generally the hours are between 4pm - 8pm dependant on the needs of the School. An enhanced DBS will be required as well as undertaking mandatory training as per your job role.
