Job Advert Role Description

Hurworth House School is a SEMH specialist provision working with up to 57 children and young people from the age of 5 – 19 years.  It is an expanding school which has just opened a bespoke primary provision and is continuing to develop. The school employs a professional and experienced therapy team and are developing practice and expertise in a range of areas, leading to innovative and successful approaches for the most marginalised children in our society.  

We are looking to appoint an outstanding member of staff that can offer a diverse outdoor education curriculum including Duke of Edinburgh and Sports Leadership to our students, developing cross curricular learning.

You must be motivated and committed to making a difference to Children and Young Peoples lives. You will be increasing student engagement and interest in learning by going beyond classroom learning in various settings off site. The successful person will cover across the curriculum e.g. Maths, English, Citizenship all in a none traditional way. You will be following programmes to promote team building.

This is a qualified teachers post.

A full clean driving license will be required as you will expected to drive a company car.
